Founded in 1985 by Eddy Amann, Nickelson has fast become an established brand with a truly personal history. It was 1954, the year that Eddy was born, that inspired the label’s well-known ‘Nickelson established 1954’ tag.
With an original focus on men’s leather jackets, the brand has since seen huge growth, becoming a firm trendsetter in the UK and Netherlands’ streetscape. In 2003, his son Nick Amann took over the company having worked under his father’s guidance since childhood.
His name alone inspired the brand: Nick-el-son translates to ‘Nick the son’.
In conjunction with a new design team, he set about creating a look that still retained the Nickelson DNA, but brought the brand to a whole new level.
The Nickelson collection has four different product groups: Men, Women, Junior and Shoes. Each product group combines quality, style and identity, while staying true to the Nickelson DNA; a sporty, luxury, contemporary fashion brand, which is equally authentic, tough and recognizable through its colourful designs.
Today a large variety of men’s, ladies and children’s fashion products are being distributed to more than 26 countries in Europe and beyond.
